Mental Health Awareness Week: Nothing Will Change Until Attitudes and Language Change

We have a long way to go

About four years ago in a city near where I live, a man with severe mental illness climbed to the roof of a block of flats and stayed there for about two days. The whole time he was up there, it was clear this poor man spent it in severe distress.
