Ludlow in Shropshire: England’s Food Capital and My Happy Place
I just cannot stay away from this stunning medieval town
In 2004 or 2005, I saw an advert for a company in my local newspaper running coach trips to something called The Ludlow Medieval Christmas Fayre. The prospect of going to a Christmas market in a town with a castle and lots of other historic buildings was a definite “shut up and take my money” moment.
